Athletics underway in Athens

The athletics get underway in Athens today with the opening rounds of the men’s 400m, 1500m and triple jump and the 10,000m final.

The first four events of the women’s heptathlon are now being held, with the opening rounds of the 100m, 800m, 5000m also scheduled.
