Ireland's Athens track team has been reduced just 11 participants after discus thrower Nick Sweeney today pulled out through injury.

The 36-year-old, who was in line for a fourth games, has a suspected ruptured tendon in his left knee. Sweeney picked up the injury three days ago in training.
