Lombard to get two-year suspension

The Athletic Association of Ireland has said it will suspend Irish athlete Cathal Lombard after receiving a statement from the athlete.

The AAI said that it the athlete has waived his right for the analysis of the 'B' sample, has foregone his right to a hearing and accepted the suspension.

The AAI has notified the athlete that he is provisionally suspended.

The AAI expects a two-year suspension will follow.
