New York unveils €3bn plan for 2012 Olympics

New York has unveiled a €3bn plan to transform the city and hold the 2012 Olympics.

A giant stadium in Manhattan would form the centrepiece of a New York Olympics and a nearby convention hall would be expanded for many indoor sports.
