Jenson Button will today attempt to hatch a tactical masterplan as he looks to overcome a 10-place penalty.

The Englishman was looking like a podium challenger after a solid first day of practice for the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim yesterday but his chances were hit hard by a subsequent penalty.
