Pool players ready to rack 'n' roll for Ireland

More than 180 pool players will gather in Liffey Gaels GAA club in Dublin tomorrow for the first day of the Superleague Ireland singles pool competition.

Over 180 players will compete for the chance to represent Ireland against British players in the UK Pool Finals to take place in Bridlington in the UK in November.

The singles competition begins tomorrow and runs until Sunday at Liffey Gaels GAA club in Inchicore.

Tom Moran, Sales Manager of Superleague Ireland says "This has been an unprecedented response from pool players and it indicates the popularity of pool.

Superleague Ireland will also send a 7-person team, a 3-person team and a ladies' singles representative to compete in the UK open finals in Bridlington.
