Northern Ireland’s Andrew Nesbitt completed a hat-trick of victories in the Jim Clarke Memorial Rally in Scotland today.

Nesbitt, driving a Subaru Impreza, had dominated the event from the start and tightened his grip today as he went on to set the fastest time in all but five of the 20 stages.

Current British Rally Championship leader David Higgins had to settle for fourth place behind Eugene Donnelly and Derek McGarrity.

Higgins still heads the championship by 17 points from Barry Johnson.
