Walker Gillian O’Sullivan attended the launch of this year’s Lucozade Sport Athletics Association of Ireland Juvenile Track and Field Championships today at The National Museum of Ireland in Dublin.

Gillian, from Kerry, is one of the country’s main medal prospects in track and field for the summer Olympics in the 20km Walk at the Games, following on from her silver medal achievement in the World Track & Field Championships in Paris last year.

Gillian’s rising star was noted as she ascended through the ranks of the AAI Juvenile Track and Field championships, and this year's championship will culminate over the course of two weekends with the inter-provincial finals at the Tullamore Harriers Track on July 10, 11 and July 17 & 18.
