Michael Schumacher proved he is fallible as Formula One finally saw a chink in the armour of the six-times world champion.
Schumacher has barely put a tyre out of place this season in winning six grands prix to lead the drivers’ championship by a healthy 14 points from Ferrari team-mate Rubens Barrichello.
