The British Formula One Grand Prix will remain at Silverstone until 2006 after the circuit operators gave assurances over the development of the Northamptonshire venue.

The British Racing Drivers’ Club have secured the future of the race after promising F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone they would continue to upgrade facilities at the circuit.
