Michael Devaney became Ireland’s youngest ever Formula 3 race winner in Oschersleben when he took the chequered flag at the third round of the German Formula 3 Championship.

Michael Devaney became Ireland’s youngest ever Formula 3 race winner in Oschersleben when he took the chequered flag at the third round of the German Formula 3 Championship.

He will start tomorrow’s race from the second row of the grid.

Meanwhile in Mondello Park, Ireland’s Tim Mullen and his teammate Chris Niarchos (Ferrari) finished third in this afternoon’s third round of the British GT Championship at Mondello Park.

Cork’s, Matt Griffin and his team mate, Aaron Slight in a Vauxhall Monaro, were eighth in the category and 18th overall. The race was won by Tim Sugden/Jonathan Cocker (Porsche).
