Michael Schumacher made the perfect getaway to the historic Bahrain Grand Prix today as he launched his bid to maintain his unbeaten start to the season.

The German, who has won the opening two races, spearheaded a Ferrari one-two into the first corner at the first-ever grand prix to be staged in the Middle East.
