Ferrari eyes on Alonso

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo sees Spanish star Fernando Alonso as a Michael Schumacher in the making and admitted the Renault driver would be a natural replacement for the German when he finally decides to retire.

Di Montezemolo has already indicated he would like McLaren’s Kimi Raikkonen to one day don the famous scarlet drivers’ suit and the Italian’s latest comments indicate he too is beginning to look towards a time when Schumacher no longer dominates the sport.
