Ireland's U19s are playing Canada today in Bangladesh in the second match of the Plate Championship.

After batting first, Ireland scored 265 for 9 off their allotted 50 overs.

Kevin O’Brien top-scored with 51 but there were substantial contributions from Eoin Morgan (44), William Porterfield (42), Robert Rankin (39) and Simon Wells (28).

In reply Canada are struggling on 77 for 7 after 28 overs.

Eoin Morgan and Andrew Riddles have both taken two wickets each.

A win today for Ireland will be their third consecutive win in the Cricket World Cup and will see them qualify for the Plate semi final.
