Irish U19 cricketers take control in Plate clash
Ireland U19s began their quest to qualify for the U19 CWC Plate semi-final with a match against Uganda today in Bangladesh.
Batting first, Ireland soon began to take control and after their 50 overs reached 329-9.
Top scorer was Eoin Morgan who scored 117, who became Ireland’s first century maker in the tournament.
He was ably supported by Kevin O’Brien with 70 and Simon Wells 33 off 11 balls.
In reply Uganda have reached 135-5 off 26 overs.
