Jordan continue testing in Jerez
Jordan's Nick Heidfeld and Giorgio Pantano continued testing in Jerez today in dry and sunny conditions.
Different and separate technical issues affected the day’s programme, including airport and airline
baggage handlers misplacing car parts sent from the factory last night.
Despite the hitches, Pantano was able to complete 24 laps and Heidfeld added another 51 laps,
bringing the EJ14’s total testing distance to over 1000km.
James Robinson, Head of Race and Test Engineering, said, “We have learned a lot about the car today because of the various issues which arose and we are working to address them as quickly as possible."
Heidfeld will continue testing tomorrow and Pantano will complete the programme on Friday.
