Williams wins Welsh battle at Masters

Defending champion Mark Williams clinched a dramatic victory over fellow Welshman Matthew Stevens to reach the quarter-finals of the Masters at Wembley tonight.

Williams trailed 3-1, won four frames in succession to lead 5-3 but only beat the UK champion 6-5 on the pink after Stevens had missed a blue leading 48-0 in the decider.
