Pirelli to sponsor Irish Tarmac Rally Championship

Tyre company, Pirelli, are to sponsor the Irish Tarmac Championship that will begin with the Galway International Rally at the beginning of next month.

The series will consist of eight rounds, two of which are outside Ireland - the Jim Clark Rally in Scotland and the Manx International Rally.

The Galway event moves to its more traditional date for the first time since the 1990’s.

The Pirelli Irish Tarmac Rally Championship will consist of the following rounds:

BUY AND SELL CIRCUIT OF IRELAND INTERNATIONAL RALLY 10/12 APRIL.

ORDNANCE SURVEY INTERNATIONAL RALLY OF THE LAKES 30 APRIL/2 MAY

SHELL DONEGAL INTERNATIONAL RALLY 18/20 JUNE

JIM CLARK MEMORIAL INTERNATIONAL RALLY 2/4 JULY

MANX INTERNATIONAL RALLY 29/31 JULY

ULSTER INTERNATIONAL RALLY 3/4 SEPTEMBER

CORK "20" INTERNATIONAL RALLY 2/3 OCTOBER
