Dwain Chambers was facing the prospect of a minimum two-year ban today after confirmation from UK Athletics that his B sample had tested positive for the banned substance THG.

Chambers failed an out-of-competition drugs test for the new designer drug – a specially formed anabolic steroid called tetrahydrogestrinone – at a training camp in Saarbrucken on August 1, when his A sample tested positive for THG.
