Vienna Woods Glanmire 70 Dart Killester 62

Glanmire pulled away twice in the game, going up 10-points in the first half and again by 15 in the second, before Killester hit back.

Killester, who were without Suzanne Maguire this weekend, trailed for most of the game, and took the lead for the first time with 2 minutes remaining on the clock.

The game went score for score for the closing minutes of normal time, with Carmel Kissane levelling the game with 3 seconds remaining. The game ended tied at 56 points each.

Glanmire dominated the period of extra time, making two early lay-ups and never relinquished the lead.

Sara-Jane O'Connell played a captains role, stepping up the pace when it was needed, and killed the game off with a big 3-pointer with 2.25 on the clock.

Player of the game was Glanmire's Aoife O'Dwyer, while American, Adriana Spears made a solid start, but fouled out at the end of normal time.

Gillian Ennis who had an excellent game for Killester top scored with 23 points and fouled out in overtime.

New American signing, Sonia Cotton, failed to shine, while Sharyn Kelly top scored on 18-points in her first game with Drimnagh.

An outstanding 27-point game from Olivia O'Reilly allowed Wildcats pull away 36-30 at half-time, a lead they held onto throughout the second half. Wildcats' Nicole Conway impressed, finishing the game on 17 points.
