Button crashes out of testing

Jenson Button has been forced to quit testing early after a high-speed accident at Jerez.

The British driver lost control in turn four and smashed heavily into the wall, causing extensive damage to the left side of his BAR.

The car cannot be repaired and Button, who did not need medical attention but suffered bruised knees, will return home from Spain to rest, with BAR test driver Takuma Sato set to fill in.
