Alonso on pole for Hungarian GP

Fernando Alonso is in pole position for today's Hungarian Grand Prix.

The Renault driver blitzed the Hungaroring circuit to clock a time of one minute 21.668 seconds, with his rivals left trailing.

Spaniard Alonso is joined on the front row by the Williams-BMW of Ralf Schumacher. Mark Webber claimed third for Jaguar.

Juan Pablo Montoya is in fourth, Kimi Raikkonen is in fifth, while Michael Schumacher starts from eighth.
