U19 cricket team close on World Cup place

The Irish U19 cricket team are closing in on a place in next year's U19 World Cup as they are favourites to beat Scotland today.

The team have bowled Scotland out for 132 in their final match of the World Cup Qualifier in Holland today.

The team, who are undefeated, need 133 to win the tournament and qualify for the U19 World Cup in Bangladesh next year.
