Grand Prix protest: Man in court

An Irishman was appearing in British court today after a protester halted the British Grand Prix by running on to the track in front of the high-speed Formula One cars.

The protester gained access to the track at Silverstone, Northamptonshire, and began running into the path of race cars at around 1.15pm.
