Rogge questions Beckham role

Olympic president Jacques Rogge today warned London’s bid for the 2012 Games that using David Beckham as an ambassador could affect the campaign’s credibility.

The Real Madrid player has been invited by London bid chairwoman Barbara Cassani to help the campaign for 2012.
