Ireland is enjoying another succesful day at the Special Olympics today.

As the third day of the Special Olympics progresses, Ireland has so far succeeded in winning 36 medals.

These already include 11 gold, 8 silver, 17 bronzes and 7 placement ribbons.

The golds have gone to Damien O'Donovan and Laura Jane Dunne in swimming.
