Villeneuve would drive Ferrari for nothing

Jacques Villeneuve offered to drive for Ferrari for nothing if Formula One ringmaster Bernie Ecclestone could have got him the second seat alongside Michael Schumacher.

The Canadian said he was prepared to race for free because of his desperation to get into a car capable of winning races again.
