Ukral sees off Magee challenge

Northern Ireland’s Eamonn Magee failed in his attempt to unseat European light-welterweight champion Oktay Urkal in Magdeburg tonight, coming off second best in a unanimous points decision.

The Turk was awarded the contest by all three judges – although Belfast’s Magee did floor Urkal in the 10th round.
