Schumacher sets the pace

Michael Schumacher shrugged off a brush with the tyres to sweep to the fastest time in final practice for the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal today.

The German, hoping for a sixth victory on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve tomorrow that could give him the championship lead for the first time this season, just touched the barrier after sliding off the greasy track early in the final session.
