The Irish eyes of Olympic 5,000 metres silver medallist Sonia O’Sullivan shone with pride after she returned to international action with a superb third place in today’s Entenmann’s Great Manchester Run.

O’Sullivan ran positively against tough overseas opposition headed by Berhane Adere and Derartu Tulu.
