Damaged fuel hose led to fire

Ferrari today revealed that a damaged fuel hose was to blame for the pit-lane fire involving Michael Schumacher’s car at last weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix.

The hose used to refuel Schumacher’s car during his first pit stop at the A1-Ring was the same one that caused a problem during team-mate Rubens Barrichello’s stop minutes earlier.
