Bahrain Grand Prix on calendar

Next year’s maiden Bahrain Grand Prix is expected to take place in April rather than at the end of the season to avoid a clash with the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The race is set to be confirmed for April 4 – following Australia and Malaysia in the schedule – when the 2004 calendar is announced in a few weeks time.
