Williams won't let things slide again

New world snooker champion Mark Williams has vowed not to let his game slide in the same way as he allowed it to after his 2000 title triumph.

And he has thanked former world champ Terry Griffiths for “helping me to climb back up the hill” after his dramatic 18-16 win over Ken Doherty in Monday evening’s Embassy final at The Crucible Theatre.
