Hunter and Doherty meet in semi-finals

Paul Hunter has booked a World Championship semi-final against Ireland's Ken Doherty after winning a deciding frame in his quarter-final clash with defending champion Peter Ebdon in Sheffield last night.

The two players were neck-and-neck throughout the match, but Hunter eventually triumphed in the 25th-frame decider to claim the last semi-final spot in this year's competition.
