Hann closes in on second round spot

Quinten Hann moved closer to the second round of the Embassy World Championship at Sheffield this morning – and to retaining his place in snooker’s big time.

Hann, resuming with a 5-4 advantage over 1991 champion John Parrott, picked off three of the next four frames to start the final session 8-5 in front.
