O'Sullivan books place in Irish last eight

World number one Ronnie O'Sullivan moved a step closer to his second consecutive ranking title with a 6-2 win over Matthew Stevens in the quarter-finals of the Irish Masters at the CityWest Hotel in Dublin last night.

O'Sullivan will now go on to play world champion Paul Hunter in the semi-finals tomorrow afternoon.
