Coulthard maintains momentum

Championship leader David Coulthard blasted his way into top spot in opening practice as track temperatures soared at the Malaysian Grand Prix in Kuala Lumpur this morning.

The Scot followed up his victory in the season opener in Australia by setting the fastest time with a late flying lap as the mercury reading hit 41degrees C at Sepang.
