Eastman facing triple test

Howard Eastman will keep busy with a triple title defence at Britain's Nottingham Arena next month.

Eastman puts his British, Commonwealth and European titles on the line against Plymouth’s Scott Dann on April 16.

Battersea’s former world title challenger stopped the outclassed Gary Beardsley in two rounds earlier this month and craves sterner tests to return to the top level.

His promoter Mick Hennessy said: “I will be giving Howard the chance to confirm his status as one of the best middleweights in the world with another shot at genuine world honours in the near future.

“First though Howard would like a domestic showdown, whether that be against Joe Calzaghe, Robin Reid, Wayne Alexander or Anthony Farnell.”

Double ABA champion and home city favourite Carl Froch also appears on the bill.
