Lewis wins cricket Global award

The ICC Development Program's first ever Global Awards winners were announced yesterday.

The Irish Cricket Union is delighted to announce that Ursula Lewis has won the Global Award for the Best Women's Cricket Initiative.

The Global Awards were decided between those which had won awards in the relevant categories in each of the ICC Development Regions.

The ICU had been nominated for three of the Global Awards in total having, at the European Development Region Level, also won awards:

-Best run National Body

-Best Junior Cricket Development initiative between North and South Ireland
