Darren Campbell edged out Mark Lewis-Francis by one hundredth of a second in the 60m final at the Irish Indoor Athletics Championships in Belfast.

Lewis-Francis had set an Irish all-comers record of 6.58 seconds in the heats but then had to settle for silver as Campbell blasted home in 6.84 with bronze going to Ireland’s Mark Howard in 6.82.
