Ireland gained revenge for their 2-1 defeat to Belgium yesterday by winning the second and final Test match 1-0 in Barcelona today.

Instonians’ Mark Irwin scored the only goal of the game at Club de Polo in the 64 minute after a good run by Lisnagarvey’s Mark Raphael.

The Irish play the first of their two challenge matches against Club de Polo tomorrow night, with another club side Egara to follow.
