Massa agrees terms with Jordan

Brazilian driver Felipe Massa has agreed terms with the Jordan Formula One team and is expected to sign as the team's second driver by the end of the week.

A spokesman for Massa confirmed that negotiations have reached a successful conclusion and that the driver is anxious to seal the deal as soon as possible.

However, he added that Jordan are still in talks with a number of other candidates and the situation could change.

The number-two seat at Jordan is the only remaining vacancy in Formula One for next season.

Massa is seen as the favourite for the job because he can bring in the €3m-plus sponsorship needed by the Irish-owned team.
