Barney wins third Embassy darts crown

Raymond van Barneveld held off the brave challenge of Wales’ Ritchie Davies to win his third Embassy World Championship crown at Frimley Green’s Lakeside Country Club tonight.

The Dutchman, who won the title in 1998 and 1999, raced into a four-set lead before Davies fought back to reduce the deficit to 4-3.
