David Coulthard has hit back at his Formula One doubters by insisting he can be world champion one day.

The 31-year-old Scot is refusing to believe he will never lift the coveted drivers’ crown and has promised to be as motivated as ever when he begins his latest challenge to Michael Schumacher in March.
