Eberharter regains World Cup lead

Stephan Eberharter regained the World Cup overall lead after victory in the men's downhill at Stelvio in Italy.

The defending overall, downhill and super-G champion set an unbeatable time of 1 minute, 59.27 minutes.

Austrian teammate Michael Walchhofer was runner-up by 0.48 seconds with American Daron Rahlves third.

Eberharter moves back into the overall lead after he was temporarily replaced by Bode Miller, who took advantage of the favourite's knee injury.
