Quickfire Lee dents English hopes

Brett Lee delivered another sustained spell of hostile fast bowling to halt England’s counter-attack and ensure Australia remain dominant in the fourth Test at the MCG today.

Lee struck to remove opener Marcus Trescothick and was unfortunate not to claim the wicket of captain Nasser Hussain as England reached 97 for three at the close of the second day replying to Australia’s 551 for six declared.
