Young guns may beat Irvine to Jordan seat

Eddie Irvine’s hopes of securing the vacant seat at Jordan next season have come under threat from two young drivers.

Ralph Firman and Richard Lyons are both in the frame to succeed Takuma Sato as Giancarlo Fisichella’s partner at the expense of 37-year-old Irvine.
