Irvine poised for rally test

Eddie Irvine could get the chance to test a Ford Focus World Rally car just days after being dumped from Formula One by Jaguar, whose parent company is Ford.

Irvine has expressed a desire to sample a WRC car and Ford could be about to grant his wish by letting him try out Colin McRae’s Focus some time in the future.
