Dunne's boxing career thrown into doubt

The future career of Irish boxer Bernard Dunne is in doubt after an "abnormality" was discovered in the Dubliner's brain during an MRI scan last week.

Further tests have since been conducted, with results due later this week.

Dunne was due to fight Tony Espinoza last Friday, but the fight was cancelled after the brain scan.

The featherweight has only recently signed a lucrative deal with the Sugar Ray Leonard promotional outfit.
