Ferrari's duo's challenge

Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher and team-mate Rubens Barrichello will appear at Ferrari’s Trofeo Pirelli challenge later this month.

The challenge, which began in 1993, is a racing series designed to allow owners of Ferrari road cars to race against one another.

Schumacher and Barrichello are to perform brief exhibition races at the event, which takes place at the Santa Monica Autodrome in Misano on Italy’s Adriatic coast.

The event begins on Wednesday, October 18 and lasts for two days.

Schumacher and Barrichello will be joined by official Ferrari test drivers Luciano Burti and Luca Badoer.
